Spice up the 140 V4 Since my Etec is still on hold!

I figured I will clean up the engine on the outside since I am now done fixing :)
I stole the cowling from my project motor !

Were those stock Evinrude decals (or stock replicas) from some year? Again, they are really nice. No offense, but way nicer than what you had on the motor prior to your rebuild!

You are correct, the job done on the motor was like "get me on the water asap" its the reason I finish it correctly.
I think the numbers shown here on this cowling is left over registration numbers from Bass Pro ...

The motor looks terrific. It looks brand new! I am still wondering though; did the design shop @ Evinrude put together the slick stickers on the sides of the cowling, or is that some one else's design? In either event, they look great.

Those decals came on the late 90's to early 00's 20" shaft HO engines that OMC built mostly for the bass boat guys. Theres somebody over on screamandfly that sells em too.

looks great

I am putting on the same motor except a Johnson 140 VRO....im setting it on a gil bracket.....whats your top speed, cruise , etc...fuel consumption?
Thanks....and great job looks nice
