Someone stole my ride!!!!!!

The kids and I walked out to the driveway this morning and my high performance mini van was GONE!!!!!

:sand:

I was dumbfounded. My first thought was that I must have left the keys in it, but I had them in hand. Then my mind raced.

Who in the world would go to the trouble of stealing that old piece of crap van when my restored 72 Chevy PU was sitting right next to it.

I had woke up at 3 am wide awake, I figured thats when it happened.

So the girls and I got in the truck and I drove to school. (My son rides with my wife to school she has to be there 30 minutes earlier)

Then it dawned on me.

I had met my wife at the school last night for a parent meeting and we had gone out to eat afterward. There sat the van in the parking lot. The girls laughed and laughed at me. I felt like a moron.

It's hell to get old.

Must have been psycologically hoping that someone would steal that mini van and you could restore whatever dignity you have lost driving that thing around all this time.
Just kidding randleman. It does suck getting old. Doesn't it?:hi:

I find it hard to believe that the same guy owns both a minivan and that sweeeeeet '72 pickup!

Thanks Bradford.

When I bought my wife her Pilot, I tried to sell the van for what I thought was a fair price but no one wanted it so I kept it and sold the Suburban I had at the time. I doubled my gas mileage (25-28 mpg in the van) and it keeps the miles off the truck.

Plus there is a very low chance of getting car jacked in that van, who would want it?
