Smart Tabs

Any body ever use them or heard good/bad about them? Took the new boat out yesterday(love it:love:), SSW 10 -15 knots and a litle chop, after about 4000 RPM with the engine trimmed down, the boat was getting alitle squirly and porposing and by 4500 it was getting worse. Then boat jumps right on plane out of the hole, just that the hull is so light and with optimal RPMS around 5000 and WOT @ 5600 I think I would flip the boat:head:

Smart tabs are only good at getting you on plain and thats it. I would go adjustable if you are going to do it.
then you can get the bow down when you need to and the side to side adjustment is great for uneven loads, instead of having to move stuff around the boat.

I hear you MJ, the more I look into them the more I'm not to thrilled about them, Price is right, $150.00 compared to $600.00, but I'm going to hold off.. Maybe put trim Tabs on my Christmas List:beer:

M-80 or M-120 BENNETTS would work nicely. And I've seen them for under $400 for the whole kit. The smart tabs are like MJ said, a planing aid. They help with some side to side leveling as well, but not much good on up in the speeds.
