Well a guy named John was my partner at dialysis, he has been doing it for 5 years! I asked him many questions and he always answered. We use to joke with the nursers and have a great time!! I asked him what keeps him going? He stated he wanted to live so he came all the time and did what he needed to do. Well 3 weeks ago ihe got the call they have a kiddney!!
It been pretty quite there with out him but I know it was for the best for him! Making my wait seem longer.
I have been trying to call his cell b ut no answer, So today I asked the nursers if they heard how he has been doing? I have asked before, but I thought I would get him on the phone at some point.
Nurse said let me get Deb (social worker) and see what she can find out, cause we all were wondering.
Deb came in asked how I was then said you wondering about John, I said yes.
THEN BAM she said sorry Joe but John DIED! What a nice guy we lost! Dialysis won't be the same, after 5 years with hope to live a long life his fight is over!! John was just 49!

Then talking to valiant200 are tec guy here, he was working with a guy that got a kiddney about 2 years ago, I told him the story and asked how his friend was doing??
He said I hoped you didn't ask, Bob died!!

Its got me thinking about getting a transplant! Lots of risks and its a life time more with drugs and other illness. So its been a sad day with a lot of thought!

Sorry for the long sad story but just had to unload! God Bless Them Both!!
