Redistribution of wealth comment from 2001

Oh my God. And Americans want to vote for this outrageous piece of socialist crap, I am absolutly stunned that there is not an upwelling of Americans demanding his head, instead we have good honest people who literally cannot see what harm they will do with their ballot for him.
I have never considered myself a brilliant man but for crying out loud my kids can see it. This is not America, this is the kind of dribble you see in Cuba, in their papers.
God please help us

I don't think I'm going to participate in the 2009 Fall fishing tourney. That tourney seems to be redistributing MY wealth to others.

It seems a couple of God Fearin', self-described "Americans" did just the other day...their skin-head mug-shots made the news this morning and are currently in a couple of jail cells

Look it up mac. This whole mess started with 'ole Slick Willie back in the late '90's. The Dems have been fighting regulation by the Republicans of Freddie and Fannie for YEARS!!!!

I've stated this many times before, and WILLY could right a sermon on it. Everybody is entitled to there opinion, but I'm afraid too many people want to distance themselves so far from BUSH that they don't want to really aknowledge what that may entail. Obama could be a good president, my MAIN issue we have NOTHING to base his leadership on. All we have is his memoirs(which he has a plenty), and more skeletons in his closet than the CLINTON's. It scares the HE!! out of me, but others think he is the one. To each there own. Just remember that GERMANY wanted change and look where it got them, RUSSIA wanted change and look where it got them, CUBA wanted change and look where it got them. Be careful what you wish for, the grass isn't always greener on the other side.

Vote on my birthday as I will hopefully be fishin.

Ferm: Don't forget venezuela, they also wanted change, ecuador, nicaragua ....and so on and so forth.

No thanks, keep the change.

Like you said "obama migth be a good president" but there is an old spanish saying my mother used to tell me all the time" "tell me who you hang around with and i'll tell you who you are" , obama is been somehow associated with so much sh**t that he already looks like a toilet !!!!!.

If he wins, he'll get a majority run senate, filibuster proof, a majority run congress, filibuster proof, where is the "check and balance"? This is like giving a loaded gun to my twelve year old son, i trust his judgement, but i would not give him a gun.

I agree with you Lesterus, and I grew up with my mother telling me the same thing about "tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you what you are" only in Italian.

He has just been associated with to many bad people. The kind I would not want to think of the President of the United States to be playin' around of golf with.

Looks like Obama is still in the lead but that gap does appear to be closing, could be close.

I personally feel their are alot of people that are not going to pull the lever for Obama once they get into that booth.

Besides all of of his bad associations, he wants to move America to a Marxist style regime. You can look up almost anything Carl Marx said, and it almost sounds verbatum what comes out of Obama's mouth. Socialism has NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER worked!!!! EVER!!!!!!!! Like you guys said, name me JUST ONE COUNTRY that has prospered and survived that has run on a socialist system. Name just one, and I will not write one more thing on this entire board regarding Obama! I promise.

I didn't forget CHAVEZ, just didn't want to pour more salt in the wound(although I should've). I grew up with the cracker saying "Sleep with dogs, and you'll wake up with fleas". Pretty simple to me, you hang with em, eventually you will be them. Besides how bright can he be if it took him 20 years to realize his pastor is a RACIST SPEWING POS!

Here’s a creative approach to “redistribution of wealth” as offered in a newspaper.

Today on my way to lunch, I passed a homeless guy with a sign that read: "Vote Obama, I need the money." I laughed. Inside the restaurant, my server had on an "Obama ‘08" tie. Again I laughed as he too had given away his political preference. Just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came, I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama “redistribution of wealth” concept. He stood there in total disbelief as I explained to him that I was going to “redistribute” his tip to someone whom I deemed more in need - the homeless guy I’d passed outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.
I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10.00 and told him to thank the server inside as I'd decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific “redistribution” experiment I realized that the homeless guy was grateful for the money he hadn’t earned but the waiter was angry that I’d given away the money he had earned, even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess “redistribution of wealth” is easier to swallow “in-concept” than “in practicality.”
