He was 21.5 inches, slot red for florida

Thanks guys, I’m trying to keep the fishing section alive.

Step, I have a LOT of days with no fish. We’re in the transition from spring to summer. Water temp in the lo 80’s, so our bite is about to slow down. Sounds like yours is about to pick up.

You’re definitely doing that Phat. You’re making me think about trying to visit Florida before I croak out. I’m up at 4:00 in the morning to take another shot at Crappies. We hit the river last week, 3 of us with 4 rods out, from about 7:00 to 2:00 and I got the only bump - if I wasn’t at 20’ on my line counter in 45’ of water, I would have thought I momentarily snagged on something. Fishing here hasn’t been very productive, to put it very mildly, but I still love being out on the water and catching up with old buddies. It’s nice seeing your catching, while Step and I are “fishing” - at least he’s getting some to throw back.
