Quahog for sale here only

Okay, IF someone on this site wants to buy Quahog for $8,500 I'll sell her. I'm not listing her anywhere else and I'm not desperate to sell. However, I would like to buy something set up more for camping (i.e. Chris Craft Catalina) if I can sell Quahog to a good buyer. If not, we'll be happy to use her in '06.

You guys all know the boat. One year old Johnson 150. Armstrong bracket. Shore Line tandem (yard) trailer. Originally a Sea Drive set up so always a full transom. I had a lot of electrical work done this season too and added a CD player w/four speakers and a raw water washdown. EVERYTHING works.

Trailer rolls fine and tires are good, otherwise it's a yard trailer. Fenders are shot and I'd saw them off before towing a long distance.

I hit a rock (damn Bass) at slow speed in the middle of summer which dinged the skeg and took a divot out of the prop. Nothing major, I used it that way for the rest of the season.

Motor has a transferable warranty into next year.

The boat will be power washed and the motor winterized this coming week. She's scheduled to be wrapped too, but I'll hold off if someone is interested.

It's come down to how we use the boat most. I fish on it solo quite a bit early mornings, but it spent far more hours this summer in raft-ups and we'd have spent the night on it many times if it had the capacity.

This is an awesome sight and group of boaters, so I'm comfortable putting her up for sale here. Let me know.

Hmmmmm, Now you've gone and done it CT. My trigger finger is getting itchy...................................... ??? :-/

CT,    If I werent in the middle of my restoration .... I would give your sale offer some serious consideration.    You have a great boat there in Quahog.   Just curious -  what model year ?   Lounge seats at both driver and passenger locations ?   Do you have the round livewell in the floor at the stern ?   How long has she been in your posssession ? Good luck !

I thought about you first Brian, but I know you're making progress on your own boat now. It's an '86, it has the round livewell at the stern and rectangular one in the center with a pump. It's been in my possession for the '03, '04 and '05 seasons. It has the original lounger port and the original pedestal starboard with a cooler mounted immediately behind it. I also have the original full width transom seat too. It's on the trailer (it's a Load Rite w/flush setup) and can be seen in East Norwalk, off exit 16 from 95. About 2 mi from the highway. Just give me a call on my cell 203-803-3169.

Hmmm...if I get the job I just interviewed for, I might be very interested. We'll see in the next two weeks.

Nice rig, CT!
