Prayers needed

My mom fell last night. She's 94. She broke her leg just below the hip joint. Surgery is needed to repair the break. Surgury is not an option, it must be performed. Due to other health issues without the surgury the doc says she will die. Because of those same issues she has a 1 in 5 chance of not making it off the operating table. I believe in God and the power of prayer, so I'm asking all of you that if you might be so inclined could you please take a moment and say a prayer in her behalf. Her name is Eleanor. Thank you

Just said my friend, just went through a tough scare with my 84 yo Mom, may you and your Mom have good fortune and she heals up well.

Me,my girlfriend and my 5 year old held hands and said a prayer for your mother before my daughter went to bed. She is in our prayers.

UPDATE

She's much better, but the hard part (the operation) comes tomorrow morning. Left leg femur broken just before the bend into the hip ball. Operation puts a plate on the outside of the bone and a long screw into the ball to pull it tight against the other end of the bone. Doc says that she should be able to walk on it tomorrow evening!!!! (With soreness but still..!!.) He's very optimistic about the outcome of the operation...said that if she had to break the bone, that it was absolutely the best place to break it. But she still has to get over the operation itself. She doesn't tolerate anesthesia very well...so that's the huge stumbling block at this time. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR PRAYERS!!! I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH IT MEANS TO ME. God bless you all!!

Monkey, her name is Eleanor Irene

THANK YOU ALL

This is one of those stories that has a happy ending. Although groggy when I saw her, she came thru the operation with no real hitches. Doc said there was a little bleeding during the operation, and because of some ostiporosis they had a little problem seating the screw in the ball, but it was minor. The end result is that they expect her to start rehap and be walking tomorrow. Prayers do work, and I think this is a perfect example. Thank you Jesus. Thank you everyone.
