Only for my nj friends

I use to get lead sinkers from Sammy sinker but he passed away, does anyone who lives in NJ know who sells lead sinkers ? Not the stores they are to expensive. I use to pay 10 cents a ounce.

I used to make my own, but my source for lead dried up a few years back. (used lead weights from tires) When you add up the cost of fuel to melt the lead and the cost of the molds, to me it's just easier to buy new when I need them.

.

heheh, Lead sinkers haven't been 10 cents an ounce in this century...

I buy in bulk 5 lb boxes on Amazon Prime. Best prices, get them in a few days.

Last time I bought online, I think it was 10lbs of 3 oz bank sinkers. Took my crew about 2 years to break all those off. Thanks for the reminder....I need to re-up.

Buying online - hooks, sinkers, etc - is the only way to go. Tackle stores around my fishing grounds would be 5 - 10 x more $$$$. Plus, they get delivered.

Thanks guys but I found a guy who makes sinkers for $.15 cents per ounce. A 25 lb box of five ounce sinkers (400) ounces. Cost $60.00. I think that's a good price today. I remember paying $.7 cents per ounce but those days are gone now it's Sammy sinkers son doing it.
Blue runner don't delete your response. It's all good

Step, what size are you looking for, because I might have about 40 pounds of various sizes, bank, some pyramid and bell, check out the pictures. I asked Lloyd, he owns the Wellcraft, if he wanted them, because I know he needs them. He hasn't gotten back to me yet, if he doesn't want them, do you and will you be willing to come to Staten Island, they are free. The only cost would be your gas & the freakin' tolls. Let me know if you are interested, I just don't know when Lloyd will get back to me, he isn't very reliable waiting for responses.

Those are very nice, if you fish you should keep them for yourself
Thank you for the very generous offer but the dam tolls and gas would be to much
I think the toll just to go over the bridge now is more than $15.00 plus the gas. It's really not cost affective to me but if I was living in states island I would knocking on your door
Thank you for the offer. You should keep the cause sinkers are very expensive today and if you fish you will use them. Thank you , that is very nice of you.

Step, I'm done fishing, can't get around like I use to any longer. If you change your mind and Lloyd doesn't want them, they are yours, all 50 lbs.
