Alright, I was not going to, but since I got called out.....
Let the games begin ;D

With all the time you spend fishing, you better be entering....... Too bad the sea bass we caught early didn't qualify....mine was 75% of the CT record (7 lbs) and yours at least 70% of the RI record (8.5 lbs).

The RI Taug record is only 21 lbs so you have an advantage!!

I may go after porgy. The CT record is less than 4 lbs. ;D

I am just going fishing, could careless what I catch, if I win great but I got to get this new boat in the water!!

1 week to get in the water, 3 weeks to fish, should be able to get her done!!

Yeah, I was hoppen to be able to enter a monster stripper, but I've been in slump the last few weeks with nothing worth s picture :-/ ::)
But going black fishing for the 1sttime this year in the morning to start a scout out a few new spots 8)
All else fails, there's always blue fish ;D

To late for me to get in, but I have a question.  I see the picture of who won last year, that Fluke was the biggest fish caught?  Nothing bigger, like a Blue, Blackfish, Sea Bass, Weak or Striper?
Maybe I am missing something, if I am let me know what it is.[/

not alot of people entered last year.

But you could catch the winning fish and it be a 8 oz Sun Fish!!

The winning fish is one that is entered from your state, doesn't matter what kind of fish it is!!

Then what happens is that fish is looked up in the reoard book in your state to see what the largest caught there was.

exsample, you get a 1 pound sun fish, your state record is 2 pound sunfish that means you caught a fish 50% your state record,.

Same goes for everyone else. The person that catches the biggest % of that fish wins

so here in MA 73# striper is largest, so if I entered a 18# bass I only got 25%
You enter a 1 pound sufish and the record is 2# you got 50% and beat me

maybe not the biggest fish caught, but the biggest fish compared to the state record where Airslot caught it. the tournament is based on percentage of state records, since we are all fishing for different species ;)

read the bottom of the rules ;D
