That is a good day on the water there Grand Pa, I wish I had one like you growing up. Mine were both deceased.
No apology needed on the boat my friend that is one sweet looking hull, going to give Lumber a run for his money.
How does the 90 push it with all three of you on board?

Not even close to being Lumber class clean.

There was actually five of us on the boat (me, my daughter, my grandson, her boyfriend, and his son) and the 90 with a full tank and coolers and all pushed it around 36 mph top end. With just two fishing I can nudge 42 mph. I just added the hydrofoil on the lower unit to get it on plane quicker and It made a huge difference.

Wow thats tooling for a 90, I just put one of those on my G3, have not had it out yet but think it will make a difference for me

Boat with the T top looks great!! Better then when it fell and hit my head :cen:

I never used a boat till the Ox with out a foil and like I said it always made a huge difference!

Tour in the boat more now then when on vacation :you:

Congrats

The overall performance does seem better in every aspect with the hydrofoil. Definately improved planing issues.
I wouldn't say I'm using it more now. I actually used it a lot during vacation, but it was mostly fishing trips that the grandson wasn't into at the time. Although that changed quite a bit last Saturday for him. he really laid into the fish good and now loves it more than ever.

Nice pics...Looks like a real calm day. I would love a Scout Dorado dual console some day in my future... nice lookin boats.

Where were you, sandy neck?

Didn't get to take the boat out this weekend, looked like the water was nice. We did a bike ride up through situate, cohasset and hull yesterday. Funny, the marine forecast was predicting 2-3 footers in buzzards bay with a small N wind. Don't understand how...

That sand spit is at the end of the North River in Scituate. Light winds and calm seas up here. Wish I knew you were going to be up this way. You practically rode through my town.

Love the spit up there. My mom lives just north of there on Scituate Harbor. My aunt used to live on Third Cliff overlooking the spit. Amazing how there is just thousands of yards of beach at low tide all covered at high tide. One definitely does not want to stray outside the channel markers in that area. Can get some wicked waters when the tide is rushing in or out. Haven't been up there in a couple years. Hoping to make it up at the end of September to see Mom. Maybe I will be towing my V.

Thanks Blue.

Nipper, that is a beautiful area for sure. I used to keep several previous boats slipped up in the river for years. I launched out of Scituate Harbor yesterday.
PM me when you come this way. If you have time, maybe we can get together.

We had breakfast at "phins", saw a lot of boats going by. I wanted to take the boat out, but the CFO wanted a bike ride. I hope Earl stays away next weekend.

Should be nice weather and seas tomorrow for you MJ. Good luck and we will be looking forward to your report and maybe even pictures!

I will be at work "and loving it".
