New Years Day

On May 31, 2017, I retired. I got used to going fishing often, at least once a week, often 2 or 3 days a week.

On December 2, 2019 I started working again because I am going to buy a house at the coast.

Anyways, my new job is really playing havoc with my fishing schedule, I went zero times in December. I have been promised that I will only be working 2 or 3 days a week, but I worked almost every week day in December except Christmas.

I don't work holidays at the new job so my buddy and I went fishing New Years Day on Belews Lake.

It was chilly and I only caught 3 small spotted bass, but it was so good to be on the water. I knew I hadn't been fishing for a while, but I didn't know how much I missed it.
