New Trailer

Help,
I am not sure if my new Trailer provides adequate support it has no centre rollers only four Bunk Boards the two towards the transom is not flush with to the end of the transom
My previous trailer had four keel rollers under it plus 4 full length bunk boards.
Question is this set-up enough ? Or I need to modify it ?

As far as the keel rollers go, it really depends on whether or not they're needed for loading...mine used to have 4...when old and rusted, I replaced the front two that were need for loading and left the back two off...never missed 'em...

The winch-post can be moved forward to get more support under the transom, BUT if it trailers good (especially at interstate speed) don't mess w/it and screw up the weight distribution...

BTW...NICE TRAILER!!...

Cost out the door 1,950 with taxes plus tag 2,150 its got 4 wheel disc brakes rated 7,500 LBS
Its a very good deal the owner of the Boat company was sympathetic to my loss (stolen trailer) took 400 plus off the asking price..

Looks fine. I HATE ROLLERS on trailers. I've got one towards the bow of my boat and I HATE IT!!!! The original one had the rubber break and the rod bend because there is too much weight on it. Plus they mare the hull. I'm eventually gonna scrape mine and extend my bunks, or add two small inboard bunks like some of the big boys use. They support way better than the keel rollers do. As far as the transom hanging off goes, if it's just by a few inches than no big deal. Anything over a foot and I would move the winch post forward and get the boat farther up the trailer.
