Near miss on a Seacraft 23 CC

So over Thanksgiving I was down at the coast and went to watch the Ocean Isle Beach water parade at my Uncles house.

While there he showed me his new 20' Carolina Skiff that he got to replace his 23' Seacraft CC that had twin 150 Merc EFI's. He lives there full time and has several neighbors he fishes with who have large CC's so he downsized.

Then he hits me with the kicker...he gave the Seacraft away because it needed new power...guess I should have visited him sooner.:nut:

I would change the title to COMPLETE MISS. LOL

It was really a good thing...can you imagine all the work, having to sell the V-20, finding a Ranger or other suitable bass boat with no motor to put the Johnzuki on, finding a good used 4 stroke in the 225 to 250 range to put on the Seacraft...I really dodged a bullet here.

Praying for your Uncle and your family MJ.

If the guy really wants the motor he will make the effort...I have learned when selling anything is don't take any buyer serious until they are standing in front of you with a fist full of dollars.
