Mystery leak

The last few times I have taken my boat out in the ocean I have found that the inside of my cuddy cabin on the port side corner is wet. I have the hatch closed and I am pretty certain water isn't getting in through the hatch or the track. Even if it was, it wouldn't be wet on just one side. I mean, water isn't even getting thrown on the bow. It is getting sprayed out from the deep vee and flare from the bow. Is it possible that when the water flares up it hits the rub rail and gets in that way? Anyone have any ideas or experience in this? It is really strange. It isn't too much water, but its enough to notice and only when I am in some rough seas. And I checked, there isn't a hole.

What kinda rub rail do ya have? There is a seam where the cap and hull meet, and the screws could be worked loose, lettin that water in. You might try a bead of 5200 around the rail. That otta do it.

buckley jr...it's VERY possible you're gettin' H2O thru the seam between hull and cap...shoot a hose strait up under the rub-rail, have someone inside to eyeball it for ya...I pulled my entire cap off earlier this year, mine was so bad...put it back w/ 120+ SS screws and 4 tubes of 4200...now it's DAMM-TITE!!... ;D...

My 75 is leaking there also!! In a ruff sea it can stream in there pretty good!!

I was a blast to have one buddy on the boat look at it on a Cod trip and say Umm...... is there water supose to be coming in there??? What a look on his face when he asked!! I LMFAO!

I have sprayed water with the hose and not found the leak? But I was really looking that hard.
I might just clean it up and throw a bead of 5200 on there?
