My v20 hull might be forsale soon

Gentleman I never thought I would say this but my v20 might be going up forsale. Coming in from offshore 3 weeks ago rough as S$/t I took 10 really good shots on the hull and developed a lateral crack under the stringer . Can it be repaired?yes. But I will never trust it as a blue water boat only inshore and skinny water. If anybody is intrested please inbox me. She is one of a kind. The boat will be completely stripped to nothing. Message me an offer if your interested in the Hull only

Hate that happened to your boat but I'm glad she held up and got you home. It sure is a pretty one. Hope you can get back in action soon man.

I’m gonna de rig it mostly and flip it upside down and do some repairs. It will be perfect for cruising the inter coastal, spec fishing in the inlet blah blah blah

Sorry to hear that , kracker. I know you had a lot of heart & soul in that build. You know these hulls as well as anyone, what do you think happened? Was it where the stringers where tabbed to the hull? Need you to go CSI on this one.

I know where there is a cuddy hull down here for a $100

Kracker jack I real sorry to here that but she is a good boat, she got you home safe. She took care of you,now your next step is to find another hull/ wellcraft and keep going. I know if you repowered her than you really loved your boat like we all do Her last gift to you was getting you back safe, time to move forward. Go lock yourself in the bathroom with nobody home and cry your eyes out We will understand That's what I would do

Well I have really good news basically the damage was not from the stringer. The stringer and stringer pockets are solid as a rock. The delaminating wascaused by factory voids under the gelcoat and first couple layers of the chopped glass they shots in these boats. I guess mine was built on a Friday because they never rolled the wet glass out after shooting it in the boat creating these voids. I’m gonna start a thread showing the damage and also some of my findings after inspecting the bottom for other voids. The boat lives! It’s a blessing
