More Wing Suit Jumping

I saw a different video that had the same clip of the guy touching the wall as he passed it. It's truly facinating. But I cannot help but wonder how many people have died while doing that sport.. I mean, at that speed and that close to the rocks all it takes is one gust of wind to cause an accident... and I really don't see anyone walking away from something like that. I'd love to try it, but I'm just too chicken.. Maybe someday I'll get to fanfly, but that's as far as it goes for me.:head: Thanks for the post Reel

Theres one with Jeb Corliss doing a wing suit jump and the other guy tried cutting it to close to a bridge and hit it. It's on youtube, but I think it's a bit much to watch myself.

seriously, I've been hooked on America's Dumbest ..... lately. They show a bunch of wannabe X game attempts. Obviously they don't show any fatal incidents, but you have to wonder how many people trying these stunts end up dead. Some of the skateboard accidents look like they are just a hair away from being fatal. Figure in all the bungee jump failures, cars gone wild, snowmobile stunts, back yard cage matches, and failed attempts to back flip some type of motor powered vehicle. They've got to dropping like fly's. I've never seen so many people that don't register pain. If i attempted one of those stunts and got hurt, I don't think I would try it again. They have people on there that try these stunts while they have a cast on from their previous failures. One show some guy destroyed his elbow on a failed rail grind. The guy is standing there saying "Dude, I really f'd up my arm, you reckon we ought to call the doctor?" The guys arm was bent backwards against the joint, you could see the broken bone pushing up against the skin, trying to poke thru. I'm thinking, I'd be screaming at the top of my lungs at that moment. Either evolution is breeding out pain functions, or the drugs these guys are doing(or their parents did) have numbed their senses. If you get the Tru TV channel, check it out, its pretty funny
