Long ago, these things occupied a LARGE PORTION of my time...came across the cardboard box under a bed these things have been stored away in for MANY years...I thought I'd share 'em w/you guys...

Hope it brought back for some memories for you who were into model cars/planes, etc...sure did for me...a little something there for everybody...the cars are dusty...at this point they are pretty fragile and I am reluctant to take a vacuum brush to them...had to prop some up due to missing wheels...pics could be clearer, but you can chalk that up to pilot error...:sand:

The death of model planes, ships and cars was the snap together types they brought out to make things easier .... it simply ruined the challange of putting on just the right amount of glue without smearing it all over the model. Phat you're right...the smell just came sneaking back into my memory...Great memories... thanks Reel for bringing them back!!! (Love the beatle btw, nice job)
 
Nice Oz. The Road Runner reminds me of my very first car I bought at the auto auctions. It was a total wreck that my best friends uncle fixed at his body shop.

Yes, I made a few back in the day. Used to also like to mix parts, put in larger engines or add larger wheels etc...

Had a real nice 57 chevy...
