Michigan Fishing

I know my posted Walleye is small compared to you ocean fishing guys catches so when my friend at work caught this sturgeon I thought I would share his photo with you. His name is Dallas, he's on the left.  He caught this fish last Friday night on the North Channel of the St. Clair River.  It took 25 minutes to land and even jumped out of the water. The fish measured 69 inches 31" girth and estimated weight over 100lbs.  Stinky he even had another guy video tape the fight.

Mac, thats on my list of fish to catch in this lifetime. I'd love to actually see one in person. What's up man, we the only two to post a catch all month?

I'd like to catch one also.  On one of the Sunday fishing shows they caught a 10'er on the Snake River.  Used an air boat to get up the river and landed the fish along the shore it was awesome.

As far as holdouts I'm sure someone is.  Franco has been really quiet.  I've wanted to go out the past two weekends but the seasons are changing and that means winds.  Billy Mac  ;D

Willy they did release the fish it was too long. There is a slot limit with 5' being the upper limit. I'm not sure of the lower length. that night they caught five. The guy that took them got shut out.

I'll try and get it and post it.  It was 25 minutes long with the rod bent right over and jerking as the drag released.  Its all done at night so you only see the shore lights.  It was worth it to watch when he finally gets it to the surface and into the boat.  I'll try.  Billy Mac  ;D
