;D I made mention in another thread that I was headed east on Wednesday. We were 13 miles outside Chincoteague inlet. Managed for the snagger to catch on the first drop. Wound up being a great morning, even ran out of tog bait ;D.

We brought home 10 healthy tog and 6 decent seabass. We also tagged and released many many more than that. I'd guess it was a 100 fish day easily. On the way home we stopped and made one drift for flounder, caught one fish...then Rob looked at me and said "Why are we messin up a great day...lets get outa here", so we came in to clean a nce mess of fish.

NIce! It's tuff to beat a good tog bite. Pound for pound a pretty tuff fish to.

I really miss Chincoteague. Had a park model trailer at inlet view with the city docks behind it. Used to live east of Balto. and moved to Salisbury to be closer to the trailer. Now, I'm getting ready to retire in Steinhatchee Florida. I'm two minutes to the gulf and the winter's aren't as bad. It still isn't Chincoteague.

Nice eats there Air. The reds were snappin last night. Going again here shortly. One more day off and then work all weekend. Oh yeah, spades are biting too. See ya......

Teach me about the togs - do you double fillet them or what? Scale and fillet? Or just pop em in your mouth and eat first and ask questions later ???

Yep, good eats. We had a time catching legal BSB's. Musta caught better tha a hundred to get a handful of keepers.
