I bought my 86 last year right before we got hammered by 3 hurricanes and spent alot more time working on the house than playing on the boats (had a 1997 24' Sea Ray Laguna until two wks ago). We just spent a beautiful week in Steinhatchee, Fl. and the boat was out everyday. We traveled over 125 miles and the 86 150 Merc was outstanding. With the four blade stainless 17" pitch she turned 5500 rpm and didn't miss a beat, however the Navman fuel system let me know how much fuel I was burning. This boat is perfect for us. Our first steplift was an 85 and we forgot how much space is in these boats.
