maiden voyage...YES!!!

finally got her in.Just got it off the trailer and," Oh S#$%", the plug.Havent done that in about 10 years. anyway starts right up ,idles nice, drop her in reverse spin her around ,out the channel I go.Pass the 5MPH bouy and bought her up to 3000RPM,played w/ the trim alittle.Istayed close to shore [i did wait for a high tide], cracked it up to about 4000 rpms.A real big grin on my face by now.It was pretty calm so I eased it up to 4500, trimmed it out a bit more, motor is just purring.I kept that rpm for about 500 yards, a little more throttle,a little more trim now its dancing pretty good. Bought it to 5000-5100 just briefly ,then back down to a nice cruise speed. throw her into a few turns, I was impressed. This was my first ride in a V20 and I'll tell you this...I'm glad it's mine. Now I got to get it in the soup, whatta hull,I loveit

Phester, you'll never forget that ride, but I gota tell you...the FEELIN' will only get worse...few days w/ out splashin' will have you shakin'...then the sweats break out...there's only ONE CURE...throttle up on a V20!... 8)...

Oh, by the way ...now we need pics of your baby in the water... ;)...

I've got a friend visiting from Fla. he's up here today. He has'nt fished any northern waters in 6 years...and he knows his way around computers much more than myself. He already told me he'd post some pics for me today.

Phester...you gonna have soooooo much fun in THAT boat, you'll wonder what you did before you got her!... ;D 8)...that's a good lookin' rig, you got there...

You might as well learn...can't get by w/ much on this board...MJ's right...top does look a little outta kilter...is it backward?...I know it's your 1st splash and anxious to get her belly wet and all... ;)...

Feel free to tell us to go suck a WET sock or somethin'.... ::)...we've heard it before... :-*...

got on the water 9am, around 50 degrees, wind was W/NW 10-15,so it was a bit chilly. As soon as we dropped the top the sun made all the difference, felt like 65 deg. the remainder of the day we ran around[looking for even a bite],with the top down. just had it kinda crumpled up and slid it toward the stern. When came picture time I just didnt want to fuss w/ it to much so tilted it up real quick not realizing it was crooked.[It does look kinda bad]Oh well,no fish either, but just running that hull was good enough for me,its so nice.

I was so anal about my Bimi I was out there with a tape measure!!
My Daughter was getting pi$$ed!! I was off 1/4 inch and was moving things to get it right!! :o

After all said and done, the top is over to one side to much! I quit
