I see it's a '78 V , w/ '85 trailer, but what year is the motor? Is it original? Looks more like a merc than Envinrude, but I'm no expert... especially on older models :-/

I emailed these people the other day. They don't know much about the boat. They think the engine works because the "donator" said it did. The motor is a 1994, but the skeg on that looks like someone hit it with a sandblaster.

Good price, but they really didn't answer any of my questions so I didn't pursue it.

I wouldnt be afraid of that skeg. Boating in these areas its impossible not to run aground occasionally.
