Dont take it personally Aussie.....a good portion of us , especially me cant help you when it comes to that stuff....you'll just have to wait until somebody comes along that can help you out..... And besides, most people probably clicked on the post because of the title "leg removal".....looking to see who was going to lose a leg

Aussie, you need to look on ebay for a factory service manual for your drive and for the engine, mercruiser has some of the best written service manuals I've ever read, they will be invauluable for you. Especially considering youare going thru the motor and drive. As far as the water pump question, do a search in the repairs forum, between Ferm, Skools, and myself, its be covered several times

Naaa... Like RW said, don't ever take anything personal here. I can show you posts from long time members that seemed to be completely ignored. Most times it's just that if a question is asked and we don't know an answer we don't post. You're looking for factual information, not guesses. :head:

The truth of the matter is there are more members here that have outboards then I/O's, so questions about I/O's tend to take longer to get answered, just cause there are so few members that have them. :head:
