Well--as usual---NOAA blew the forecast on the wind--not the swell--Swell was 4ft at 20 seconds--Nice---but the 15 to 18 knot winds sucked for sure. Luckily we got 4 boats to work together as a chum line to keep a huge school of tuners at the boats. We plugged the 282 grady with Tuna along with a Kill bag full. We had one guy that hooked up and played the tuna for about 7 minutes then it started stripping line--so he put it in a rod holder, got a bottled water and then picked the rod back up--still spooling line---about 20 minutes later we get it to the side of the boat---what a PIG--40lbs albicore. Most were in the 25 to 35 lb range.
A great way to end a season of tuna!! Spent 5 hours today processing Tuna today--whew.
Only have 1 picture of the tuna--was busy cleaning fish and the boat--sorry.
