Ooorah! This 4th was a great reminder of what it took to gain our freedom and independence 200+ years ago.
Now our freedoms are being severely threatened by a runaway and power hungry government. It is sobering to think what it may take to bring America and our freedoms back.
Our founders said it best:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness." July 4th, 1776.
Lets hope that the people of America wake up and realize what is happening to their freedoms before November. Our forefathers were willing and able to set aside their own personal welfare, fortunes, safety, property and dreams to ensure the future generations would be free to exercise our "unalienable rights". There is a large majority of people (especially here on the west coast) who are out only for themselves, and how much can they make off the system. We are not here for us, this world is short, temporary, finite and flawed.
Once God (not Allah) is, once again given first place in peoples lives, families, and schools (which should not be government run), then and only then, will we see a positive change in the government and in society.
