Decisions, decisions, decisions. I was looking online at some of the kayak forums and the Hobie Quest Fisherman has been getting alot of praise. It comes as a complete package, seat paddle, rod holders and hatches already installed. I think I can pick it up for $850. The fish and dive is $650, by the time I add a seat and paddle I'll be at the price of the Quest.
I emailed the dealer and told him that I wanted to test paddle the Quest. Its only 28.5" wide but everyone who has reviewed it said its really stable. I don't need a speed demon but I'm getting nervous that Fish and Dive is just going to be really slow from what I read. I guess I will know tomorrow when I test paddle them both and have something to compare to.
