A classmate of Kendall's was diagnosed with leukemia a couple months back, he's going thur some tough times right now. They are asking for Christmas cards for him from all 50 states. Hers the link to the facebook page

and the 50 state challenge
Ryan's 50 State Challenge!
Have you heard about this yet? Our incredible family had a great idea to get people from all 50 states (and other countries) to send Ryan a card for the holidays. So far we've received 6 cards from Pennsylvania and 1 from Florida! That's 2 states down, and 48 more to go!
Let's face it - each of us still gets that little sensation, that great anticipation when we go to the mailbox. Now imagine how my 11 year old son feels when the mail lady from the hospital walks in with a handful of cards and letters just for him. Today is his 10th straight day of being locked in the hospital this time around, and he is so bored. He just completed 5 straight days (even on Thanksgiving) of intense chemo on Saturday, and he's still so nauseous. He hasn't eaten anything close to a meal since last Tuesday, which is unfortunate because that's the one thing he loves to do while he's in here - EAT. Sometimes the only thing we can do is to just find little glimpses in each day where we can just make him smile.
So can you do us a favor? Help us give him that little spark to his day. Share this on your page, and ask your friends to share it on their page. Then grab some old cheezy cards you got lying around the house and send him a note from your state as well. Pick up the phone and call that friend you've got in a unique state (like Wyoming or New Mexico for example), and ask them to help us out.
From what I can tell, this has been shared over 100 times so the momentum has certainly started! If you can't get that card out for Christmas, no worries! His birthday is January 15th!
We expect Ryan to be in the hospital for several more weeks, so if you mail it soon you can send it to:
MUSC Children's Hospital
Ryan Durant Floor 7B
171 Ashley Ave
Charleston, SC 29425
after reading last nights update on his health, I'm really at a loss of words. Keep him and his family in your prayers
