Happy Thanksgiving, Togs on fire...

Hey all,

I've been a stranger to these parts this year, only ducking in now and then. I know that I for one have more to be thankful for than ever. Elaine, the second wife and first lady had turned into an absolute FisherWoman. She spanked me something fierce on the togs today. Stopped counting at 50 fish, ran out of bait and tags....just one of the best days a guy could ever wish for. Got to get ready for dinner now, so the fish are on ice and the boat is just an absolute wreck. Plenty of time to tidy up tomorrow, cause we'll be back at it Saturday and Sunday. Yeah, I know...where are the pics? I'll snap some when I go to clean up. She kept me so busy cuttin bait and handling fish...was busier than a one armed snagger in an a$$ kickin contest.

Any how, to all of you and yours, may your Thanksgiving be as wonderful as mine.

While I may not have the V anymore, this Proline has earned her keep. We've logged more than 1300 nautical miles this season, and did about the same last season.

All for now,

well great news on the wife and fish.... but thats no excuse for not being a fixture here again lance come on now ....we already lost hammer ...has anyone heard from him ???? we managed to pull yensen back in ..... lets get those pictures posted up and mandatory log ins twice to three times a day..... hahaha

good hearing from ya.

Hammer is alive and well. Talked with him online just the other day. Funny, I just got in from cleaning the boat. It's not shinny like the 'slinger', but I do love the smell of bleach, which was used in moderation. Let me try and get a couple pics up here whilst the wife is getting ready. Hang tight.

I'll have to find some pics of the new ride.

D Moore, those fish were from Blackfish Reef, just outside Chincoteague.

Slot, good to hear from you again and a belated happy turkey day to you and yours. That is some nice toggage you've got there. Jealousy would be an understatement. Looks like a pile of delicious meat.

Went to Thanksgiving dinner last night at mom-in-laws. Decided to sleep on the couch after a massive plate, scratch that, 2 heaping plates of din din. I was worthless after that. I don't think that "Tilt" malt liquor REH76 made me drink before dinner helped me out much. Have to say, I WILL NEVER GET "TILTED" again. LOLOLOL! Rick, hope you're reading this brother!

Anyway, I woke up on the couch at 3 am wide awake. I tried desperately to get comfy but no dice. Soooooo, got up, drove home and getting ready to go deer hunting. It is about 32 degrees outside. Should be a good morning.

Looking at the pic of your wife fishing your new boat is a Proline 231 maybe 241 W/A?

She's a 94 Proline 231 W/A with a 225 Opti on her. Good eye.

I've got to get some decent pictures of this boat. Chartplotter says we did over 1300 nautical miles this year.

Two years back I sold my V and purchased a 241 with 5.7 mercruiser. You have logged alot more hours on your then mine but I really enjoy the boat. After I made the post I noticed you said you have a Proline.
