Hope all are safe for this storm coming in tonight! I am in the 18' to 24' slot starting today till wed. Winds gusting to 70 mph, going to be fun fun fun!! My son came today and put 30 gal of fuel in the tank so I should be good for heat as long as the power stays on?? Are lines are underground but the towns are not, so if the town goes out so do we.
This is messing me up for my transplant app. in Boston tomorrow , so will have to call today to get it changed. Thats a pain with these people all the time!
Well off to dialysis, Stay safe everyone!!

Batten em down.... Was floored for a second at the thought of 18-24 FEET of snow...... At inches it's still a bunch but a bit more manageable.....

This weather is F@€$ed you guy out east are getting pounded once again by a major winter storm. Up here were we are used to such weather it's been melting for a week we've broke 100 year records for warm weather:head::head::head::head:

Good luck stay warm

just let the dog out, snow is about a foot but drifts are about 3 feet already on that side of the house! my little dog is 6 lb soak and wet, he was in and out in 30 sec. my son is on the snow plow team at work and is out playing now.
they say nantucket has had a wind gust to 73 mph already!!

At one time we were in the 18-24 range even as late as yesterday afternoon. Woke up this morning with maybe 3". Low formed closer to Long Island rather then over delaware it seems. Whole states shutdown anyway so I guess I get the day off and don't have to shovel.

MJ ain't off the hook though

Like RW said, most of NJ got by with just a dusting or 2-4". Those closer to the shore got a little more. I got about the same as RW. My sister in law, who lives in Sturbridge, Mass., has 24" on the ground and it's still falling... They figure another 6-8 before it's over. This is more like it used to be. I remember back in the 50's and 60's this type of weather was common for the east.... then in the 70's the winters started getting warmer. Now the earth is going through another cooling cycle and we can probably expect weather like this for another 10-20 years. Fun, fun, fun. (I'm betting the ski resort owners are licking their chops at the prospect). :sly:

20" so far and still coming! just spent hour getting my door open to let the dog out, poor thing got down the steps but could not get back up, i had to grab him by the neck and yank him up, was funny for me, not so much for him!

Well nothing from the fla boys rubbing it in and I won't be the first... Stay warm .... I think the snow is beautiful but don't miss it at all....:sun:

28" to end it, but the clean up has just begun!! With my sons help we got the hooptee out yesterday, but the plows have it stuck in again. I am on my own since he is with the snow plow team now, i will be lucky to see him by tomorrow!
Dialysis is at 11 am today so i got to start digging. Talked to CB yesterday and hes fine!
