My buddy Brent and my pa'n'law were given me a rough time for not rushin to the boat and enjoying a leisurely breakfast Saturday. I told them we were not goin far today as 2B was the farthest I expected to go. Left out of Back River at about 8:15ish and had a decent ride out. That E,ESE swell will just not leave and its admittedly beginning to wear me the F out!!!!! Other than that it was 30+mph anywhere you wanted to go. Arrived at the Bait Barge and saw some Spades below so me and Brent hop in and sooth our itchy trigger fingers. Shot several Spades there in the very comfortable water with 20-25' vis before continuing on to 2b. Stopped in amongst the cuda fisherman to yank out a 30lb Cobe real quick like and started catchin bait. I think it bugged em a little because after that the tublers came in and the jigs went down from the other boat. Left there with a few choice baits and went to F. Typical F Reef bite with about a 6/7:1 ratio and also boated another small Cobe. One of the rubble piles at F marks up to 28' so I guess I know what's next.......
Ended up with 15 Spades, 18 BSB and 2 Cobia and back at the dock by 5. Shot a little underwater footy so enjoy the show.......
