I have never delt with them, but have broused their inventory quite a bit. Their prices always seem a bit on the high side to me.

Maybe you already covered this, but aren't there any boats in Australia for sale?

I'd imagine shipping a boat halfway around the world will cost 2 or 3 thousand bucks, add that to the purchase price, you would have $7000 to spend. That would buy a real nice boat around here.

those old Nova's are one tough boat, thye have two to three times the amount of glass of anything comperable to its size. As fas as deaking with Lanier, just assume anything worth having has been stripped of the boat, assume its a stripped hull, if the motor was worth anything, they would have pulled it out and sold it by itself

I spent a lot of time before buying my V-20 browsing these guys inventory too. After looking at their prices and comparing them to others I've come to the conclusion that they are over priced. If you read towards the bottom of the description it says the teak was removed and not returned. That engine should push that boat 50mph, don't buy into their hype sight unseen.

You may find a boat you really like out here in the states for a good price. If you do I suggest an independent marine survey and mechanics inspection. If your going to drop some serious cash to buy, then ship the boat half way around the world you should at least make sure your not buying a money pit! (Like me :you:)

Side note: I knowingly bought a money pit!
