Found My Boat

willy

God
Thats right, I am calling off any further search. After a great deal of soul searching I decided to keep my money in the bank, wait to see what happens this year at least with the economy and sh!t for brains we have in the government, especially the Thief in Chief.
I have a lot of good freshwater fishing close by me and I did not fish it but one time last year, it is close, very inexpensive and tasty.
Plus for close inshore bay the GSpot works pretty good and I have a best Bud up the street with a great boat that I can go out with in the salt pretty regular when I can.
So, here she is.

And for you guys I have bothered with lots of questions, especially Spare, Ferm and Ozzie.
Thanks.
If you guys want to fish for some nice bass or trout or panfish let me know, I got a nice boat for it.

up here that is all you need to get to some great fishing in the salt!! I wish I had something like that to fall back on!
Looks like I will have the motor sold this weekend? I have two guys coming one local tomorrow and one guy that wants to drive here from NJ on sunda. Looks like the maco is going to be dry docked this up coming season:cen:

I tell you what....that is one sweeet rig. I like it a lot. I want a set up like that really bad. With me getting back into duck hunting and after selling my pontoon boat I want a boat like that.

They are very popular around here. You could do a TON of saltwater stuff here with that. Hell there are days you could easily catch a boat load of snapper in it. Although you cant keep any thanks to big brother.

:nic:

Congrats, nice easy boat to take care of.

Best of luck with it.

Sometimes I wish I had a smaller boat, but sometimes I wish I had a bigger boat too...

Yall do not know what the heck yall are talking about! I dont see a thing on that trailer! :haha: ..

Honestly I wish I had a small boat like that. Every boat I own is rotted to the gills. I just want to do some bay fishing!

I don't think you coulda done any better Willy. My smaller boat gets three times the use of the Wellcraft and it does so on the cheap.Give it a little time and if you still want big wait on the deal to come to you.

Thanks Guys, my sentiment exactly. And I think some of you guys may not know, that is not a new boat to me. I have had it since 2009. I was my retirement gift to myself after 30 years on the P.D. Less than 50 hours on it.
It was given the name "G Spot" by some character on this site.

sounds like a wise decision, willy. money in the bank ain't making anything, but it ain't costing anything either.

on a lighter note, every 3 or 4 weeks we can alternate between "willys looking for a boat" and "charlies looking for a car"

Willy did your ins co offer to sell you back the bert?
My brother got 23k for the silverton and then bought it back from the ins co for 1500.00 he's planning on trying to fix it but I think hes nuts but then again he is.

Wise decision old timer. Although they say three's a charm i'm araid if you bought another boat that mayan **** may have come true.

I'm German Rob. I don't care much about a bunch of short extinct Indians from South America who were into cannibalism among other things.
Anyhow I got my friends here to back me up, what more does a guy need!

Lumber I wish you brother good luck. For me they wanted 7Grand for the Bertram. Sorry, it had at least 25 grand worth of damage. And I am sure a bunch they did not even look at.
The G spot is looking better every day.
