for the Shamrock fans

A friend was the Shamrock "dealer" in this area a long time ago. These were/are excellent boats and that seems like a reasonable price.

man, you think we're a cult, just get around the shamrock crew.

i have always thought they were interesting, but have heard they are hard to round up(large turning radius) and hard to back up because of rudder vs prop. everyone i have ever looked at (maybe 4 or 5) had stringer issues because of the way the motor mounts were lagged in them.

definately cool looking and great on fuel.

actually they burn an obscene amount of fuel. Driving one is similar to driving an inboard ski boat. They turn kinda flat, almost like a cat. The keel helps you control the steering when backing to a point, but it still takes some practice and backs better one way than the other. I've been working on a 20 center nad its great at half throttle, hold it wide open and its all over the place, its like trying to stand on a football. Its only got a 302 Ford in it(200 hp), it only needs about half that. A 115 hp diesel would be perfect, and get decent milage

I have a buddy who has the CC too, he rebuilt the motor like 10 years ago, its still sitting on the engine stand waiting to go back in...I have given up ever getting a ride on it.
