Fishing "near-shore Chincoteague"

Spent the day drifiting various structure looking for a late season flounder. Sadly, not much to report. We had 1 keeper flounder, a nice trigger fish, various skates, smooth dogs, bluefish, and a few small seabass for our efforts. But, it was a gorgeous October day with temps on land touching 91 when we got back. Glad we came in a little early because we had a nasty T-boomer while cleaning the boat. Looks like its time to let the flounder rest a while and chase something else?

Thats two full day trips on the pump...

Perfect trip, just enough fish for a decent meal! ;D
the way I look at it, I'd pay $90.00 to be on the boat for two days any time, the fish are just a bonus ;)

Sean, you are very correct. Much cheaper and more effective than therapy ;D

CY, time to focus on other things, at least for a while.

Look out...I've fished two weeks in a row, looks like I'll be able to salvage the season with a good fall ;D
