Dreaded GM Hub assembly...

My budy bought my old pick up, I had replaced both hubs twice as I went with autozone stuff the first time:nut:
After that I went with National brand and they have been good for about 30,000 miles but are gone again! He has asked me what he should use this time, I said they coast a little more but have heard that Timken is good??what do you guys think??
My 09 hubs went at 30,000 miles also, I asked if they had a newer updated part when they did the warr. work and the guy said we uise what GM gets us, and unless they get a new vendor they use the same, so I told my son, at about 60,000 be looking for it again! At least its good for 100,000 with the GM warr.

I haven't heard of many going that quickly. Normally around 75K miles they will go if they're gonna go, but I've also seen alot more go for over 100K miles. I know somebody now with 310K miles on the origanal hub bearings, and still going.

if your talking about the front wheel hub assy on the 4wd, the diesel 2500's seem to go around 80,000-100,000, but i haven't seen a lot of the gassers give a problem unless the truck is used for deer hunting with dogs.

I am not sure whats going on with my trucks then?? This will be 3 sets in the 02 and 1 set in the o9, The guy I just bought the Tahoe from said he just did them in it also.
O well I am going to tell him to get the timken's this time and see what happens??

I have a 94 s10 pickup with 3hundred and ten thousand miles ond only replaced one hub with GM about at hundred thousand miles. This old truck has been bullet proof from dat one.

All the folks in my neck of the woods who work at Timken appreciate it.
