Looks like you made short work of that extraction. They look to be in decent shape too.
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the protrusion on the front lower portion of the motor?

CB - That snorkel looking thing is one of the engine mounts. I just dropped the boat off at the landfill this morning!! It took me longer to remove the teak swim platform than to cut that engine out. Hour meter reads 426 hours and the engine sounds great. I evicted a bunch of Black Widow Spiders from under the seats and in the hatches . . . that slowed thing down too. The funny thing is that the Volvo Penta clymer manual that came with the boat has a picture of the V20 i/o on the cover.

CB - That was a life jacket was under in the motor and was about all that was holding the engine in place. There were no motor mounts to be seen. Good thing the other boat has some nice ones.

Pretty ironic wouldn't you say? ;D

THAT THING REMINDS ME OF THE BOAT WE WERE ALL MAKING FUN OF ON EBAY LAST WEEK, LIKE IT WOULD FLIP OVER FRONTWARDS. ???
