Two weeks or so I was having so much pain between my shoulders blades that I could not lift my arms without screeming Saw a good doctor Tuesday and he suggested surgery asap, I went in the hospital Wednesday. he repaired two herniated discs up by my shoulders using a piece of bone from my hip . needles to say I was miserable their for a while I'm home and happy now

Hope you are feeling better, dont push it for a few weeks as I did , it takes time to heal and adjust . And dont try any back flips LOL good luck

Two neck surgeries here Wolf, titanium plate across three vertebrae.
Listen to the Doc, do not push it. do not jolt it. Take it easy for awhile and do any therapy they tell you religiously. It will be a few months before it will be really solid.
Good luck and take care of yourself

excellent advice above..... I have a close friend who refuses to take it easy and heal like he is supposed to... as a result he has been in constant pain for about 5 years since his spine surgery.... likely no longer repairable.... TAKE IS REALLY EASY and don't do anything more than the docs allows you to....
Glad ur on the healing side of it tho... back pain rates way up high on the crap'o'meter

Backpain is the number one injury for new people getting disability insurance from the gubbermint... Not sure how much is real or faked, but it's risen 24% in the last 3 years.

John, take care of yourself. Good that you've been to the doc's and had it repaired. Now just take it easy and let other people do the hard stuff for a while. Glad you're on the mend friend.
