Ok so I've been wanting to post this here for a few days. Begreene brought this to my attention a few days ago. Thought it was my old one of which it is just about an exact duplicate. It's being offered in Mn for sale, 2nd owner who bought it from the original 2007. 550 hours and it shows big time! Had I not bought Begreene's last March it would already be in my garage. Climate controlled stored since new. Owner is asking $14,800. I have the info info for anyone who wants to "STEP" up. IF it's still available. Possibly the best original , low hour V-21 existing.

Wow, she looks gorgeous. Almost makes me regret spending all the money to bring mine back from the dead after the hurricane Matthew fiasco. This would have been less $$ and newer and better looking...

It does look beautiful and seems to be a fresh water boat, so not likely much if any corrosion but that painted trailer probably wouldn’t last long the salt.

Fresh water since new. At that price for that boat the trailer is a moot point!

I'm not debating you, but in today's market is that really a good price? I genuinely don't know. To ME yes I think it is because I love the V-20 and V-21s, but what is the market like for a 28 year old boat even if it's in great condition? It seems like I've seen other really nice Wellcrafts listed for sale here and elsewhere that languished on the market.

Current market view of 2-strokes is not helping it either. Not sure, but that seems to be a carbed 150, which i think is the best one to have.

I know i m showing my age, but i miss the teak accents also.

That is a great deal if u want that boat

Well if it languishes much longer it will be in Va! Go price ANY make in the 20-21ft range today & no fishing room! Those that know these boats no better! I sold my pristine, fresh water use only until I acquired it 96 V-21 in 2012 for $12,500 without even trying hard. These boats have now entered into the classic category. Do I need 2 1996 V-21's? No but damn that thing is mint!

Correct, it is carbed. That is a great year engine. High corrosion resistance and durable. I had the same exact prop, Vengence.....boat is a time capsule if ever there was one.

Wow thatsa gem ,now what I don t like is the molded seat base on both side
My 78 has more fishing room. One seat at the helm a cooler for fish and bait and to sit on. My deck is open, plenty of room. But I love that boat, actually I love all the V20 I wish they made that V20 in a excact replica in 25 feet. But that sweet V21 is beautiful. Only second to my 1978. Mine is number 1.$14800.00 that is not going to last long. I just have one more thing. Im looking at the V21 and that design hull is the best, much better than the boats today. It;s like a 67 vet. Sure the new ones are faster but that older one has flavor and class.

And it’s still available? If I needed a boat,it would be parked in my driveway as we speak. Looks like a great deal.
Maybe these people want a 4 stroke but me, hell no I want a 2 stroke. I guess I’m in the minority. I love my 2 stroke.

I bet he would let her go for $10000,00
People say. It’s a 1996. Almost 30 years old ,but it’s a classic and in great shape. Think about this, how many 30 year old boats are still out there running? I bet not many but this one shows the workmanship and beautiful lines. You can’t just go out and buy a boat like that today. Someone’s going to get a great boat.

I agree Step, wonder if there s more to the story. I noticed the registration sticker is 2021.

2 strokes are banned on a lot of lakes

Who knows

Thoughts …..

1. If in condition expected, it’s close to essentially a new boat .
2. If outboard in condition expected, it’s a very solid set up
3. Throw in the solid trailer plus assorted

To me, hell of a great opportunity for the money as condition is the key to value.
Can’t easily touch a rig like this and all it offers .
Again - condition makes it the very rare and unique opportunity.

Dave and I in “same boat “ on this one .

Any of you guys want to “ set the clock back to 1996” and pick up what’s likely a true barn find minus the dust this may be it.

It’s now, or maybe never for you V lovers
