LOL 79K is only cheap if you're a millionare. For the rest of us that's pretty steep... Still, she is a pretty hull. Formula makes some fine boats.

79,000 holy gollie jee willickers!!!!!!!! I'm gonna start refurbishing boats and sending them to Aussie and have him sell them for me!! Let me see 12,000 dollar albemarle ship it for 10,000 and sell it for 35,000 or more!!!!! Sounds like a decent buisness.

theres a few guys shipping them here if you got the money to buy them and ship them i have the room to store them and sell them alot of ski boats get brought in

Whups, so it's not a Formula boat, only a formula model from Edencraft. It's still one pretty boat for sure. I love that pilot house design... (the one that has "Police" on the side in the pics). that would be my pic for an all around boat for me... it's got everything I'd want.. size, shelter, twin engines, etc... (Anyone got an extra 100K lying around they're not using?)... <sigh>:money:

Quite a few of the popular US models from yester year are built down under today. This example of the early 62-72 FORMULA 233(in 73FORMULA changed the cap to a different design) which looks to be the same one that ALBEMARLE and countless others have copied. The BERTRAM 25, 26, 28, and I believe 30 are either in production or just recently ceased production down under by companies like CARRIBBEAN, BLACKWATCH, and a few others. It seems that us Americans grow tired of classics and have to have modern designs, while our Aussie counterparts seem to like the classics and stick with them.

They are one of the best rough water handling boats if your running on plane, but once you come off plane they are one of the rockin and rollingest boats out there with that 24.5 degree deadrise and only an 8 foot beam. Personally I love them, but would much rather have a 25/26 BERTRAM, or a 23 SEACRAFT.
