Any Experience with a Aquasport 222 CCP

I still kicking around the idea of moving up a couple of feet and the possibility of a center console. I have always liked the lines of the 222 CCP and like the fact that there is no casting deck. Just wondering if any of you guys have any experience with this hull and what your thoughts are?

Mulv:

There are many that love them over at www. classicaquasport.com. I understand older ones suffer from the standard transom and stinger issues you'll find in most older boats, but you'll find lots of good info / photos on the site.

I have a older 82 25 CCP that is getting a T-top mounted right now that I intend to use it in more of a off shore role and my V20 in the bay when it's finally rigged and ready to go.

Mulv, I've never owned one, but I just watched one go through a profesional restoration to the tune of about 28k. Great boats, a little wet in a crosswind, and sensitive to the heavy weights of modern outboards, as are most of the classics.

Forgot to add, IMHO, not many boats under 25' are gonna buy anymore days than a V-20. I just don't think its worth moving up 2 or 3'. If your gonna move up, do it right. Now moving to a newer boat or different layout I can understand.
