And even more curious

Trump vs Hillary

How do you vote?

Personally, while I do not like Trump all that much, he's way more desirable (to me) than Hillary. Given the fact that the next president will have to appoint at least one and possibly up to 4 Supreme court justices during his or her term I think that it's too important an election to not vote. So if I gotta vote I'm going to vote for the person that most reflects my values.. So my vote is going to Trump.

Yup - he has the potential to really screw up but I think he also has (hopefully much greater) potential to do a lot of things really well. He didn't accumulate the business he has without being smart, tough and cunning and to do as much building as he's done in New York he must have plenty of street smarts. If he can keep his huge ego under a modicum of moderation he could do OK.

I'm not sure I'll like his Supreme Court nominations but I'm sure I wouldn't like Hillary's. There are a lot of other reasons not to vote for her but I think some of my V-20 brothers and sisters would find my comments offensive so I'll leave it at that.

It will be interesting to see if we can have a civil, fact (or reasoned opinion) based exchange on the subject.

We can always count on Destroyer to get something started:haha:

As a sort of funny story explanation to my last post... My uncle (until he died) would use my V20 during the winter in Fla. I'd always go down and trailer it back for the summer months in NJ. Fireworks, that are perfectly legal in Fla are against the law in NJ. (NJ is only one of 2 states that ban even the possession of fireworks.. NY being the other). So every time I would go pick up my boat in Fla I'd also make a stop at Sky King fireworks and literally fill my cuddy with fireworks for me, my brothers and sisters and their families.... I figured that no cop was ever going to suspect a guy trailering a boat as a fireworks smuggler... Never got stopped...

Hah - just because you don't LOOK like a scoundrel (enough to get pulled over) doesn't mean you aren't one:sun:

Kinda disappointing that 20 people have viewed this thread but only one person has actually cared enough to post a comment. This is supposed to be a forum for the exchange of ideas and yes, philosophies also. It loses it's value when people don't care enough to make a comment.... especially on such an important topic.

Trump all the way here. I feel like four more years of this administration and we won't even have a country left.

Trump is the great unknown.

Not so, Hillary. I know exactly what we would get with her.

I'm voting Trump.

This is the short version. Don't ask me for the long version!

i was visiting a friend who lives on a lake in n georgia. i asked about the property across the lake that was undeveloped. he said it was national forest and would never be built on. i said unless trump gets in then there would be townhouses built. he said or hillary gets in and she gives it away.

to me , that sums up this race,

i'm scared of both options

Not sure why trump would be building townhouses in a national forest. After the past 7 1/2 years I'm not scared of trump at all.

It's like picking which std I want to live with. When it boils right down to it, I will hold my nose and vote for Trump because hildebeast scares me and what she would do(or not do) in office.

I know there are those that will disagree with me, and that's ok. That is, after all, what our Country was founded upon. But I think I just watched the next President of the United States give his acceptance speech. I'm still not all goshy warm touchy feely about Mr. Trump, but I have to admit the man has grown over this last year. He looks and sounds presidential now, and truthfully, I like the message that he's putting forth. Look, to my way of thinking here's my choices. I can either vote for a known liar, corrupt as they come politician that has spent her whole political life accumulating power, (some of it in very questionable ways), or I can vote for an unknown man that has spent his whole life building things and employing tens of thousands of people along the way. (some of it in questionable ways also). Hillary has never created a single job in her life (except perhaps for her maids and servants in her house.) Trump, on the other hand has created a business empire employing almost 60,000 people. If I vote for Hillary I get the same thing I've been getting for the last 8 years... more failed promises, more placing our Country and our citizens at risk, more unemployed, more of the government sticking it's nose into my business, telling me what I can and cannot do, etc etc etc. With Trump, if he can be believed, I have a chance to see that change. I don't expect miracles, but if he makes my family and myself and my Country safe again, and doesn't try to take away any of my constitutional rights, .... well, that's good enough for me. I'm voting Trump.
