Been working on this for a couple years, just a little at a time. Went for a ride a few weeks ago. The boat handles very well, and screams up to just under 40MPH. This one still needs electronics, lights, and a few other things but yeah well worth the effort. Burns a ton of fuel though! actually a little surprised how much it uses.

also in the gallery, nothing is uploading? Am i doing something wrong? love those old brochures, good info too.

Nice looking boat. How old is that engine? Years ago I ran a johnnyrude 155. Couldn't kill it but it was a thirsty one.

As for the Gallery, I haven't been able to access it since the great crash. Same for the History. Shame if it can't be restored as there are some good photo stories in there.

Destroyer - thanks for the compliments. Always been a Hunt fan and to no surprise, this boat runs and handles very well.
The engine is a 1994 200 Oceanrunner. Very thirsty, seems to run well but am definitely looking around for a repower.

Pipe_Dream Thanks for the compliment. 1994 200 Oceanrunner - Runs good, at least for now.
Hopefully the gallery thing gets fixed. I did find you have to request to access the gallery? Maybe that's to post into the gallery.

Here's to getting back in boats - soon!

Reel nice looking boat, 1994 is not even broken in yet I run a 1988 Mercury 150 outboard and the fuel is not bad Love the motor love the 2 stroke Hate the price of Biden gas The only problem that I have with my engine and I bet yours too is parts are getting hard to get. I plan on going to Georgia there is a boat junk yard there that I want to visit
Lake Lanier liquidators Check it out Are you putting in 89 octane? You should.

Thank Steplift 20, The Oceanrunner is very thirsty. Hard to find a replacement with the power and lower weight of a 2 stroke

Be on the look out for a merc optimax 200 hp. The earlier ones had some issues with the compressors, but if you use opti oil and good gas, they are pretty reliable. Gas mileage is close to comparable 4 cstrokes

Phatdaddy I have run Opti's in the past. always a good power source, loud too
Wasn't aware of there fuel economy, probably because if the fuel injection
Thanks!

Great looking center console. Love the baby blue color. I have a 92 150hp merc on my V20 and its not too bad gas. As much as I get tired of the 2 stroke smoke I can't bring myself to invest the life savings in a 4 stroke. If I were you I would just run that motor till it dies which may be a long time...lol
