I have a 3.7 liter mercruiser long block 190hp on my 1986 V20. Just did a tuneup, water pump gasket, thermostat, etc...and i can't get it to turn over from the throttle. Jumping it at the starter gets it to turn over but still no start. The outdrive seems to be locked in gear and i just also...

My '86 cuddy bails into the motor well (io) underneath. I know i saw this discussed before but can't find it now. Has anyone made this into a true self bailing hull? I'm afraid my batteries or pump will fail, thanks.

Does anybody have a 4.3 liter io in their V? I'm having one put in as we speak and was wondering what type of performance to expect. Speed, gas consumption, etc... It's a raw water cooled 2 barrel with very low hours (under 200).
