Went to Sandy Hook Reef yesterday and found some good fish chewing. With only one keeper limit we finished up early. Tried to upload the pic's but they showed side way's in the thumb nail's. This is really why I don't show many picture's along with loss of patience's at my age! Even tried...

The last trip was a good one,produced eight fluke all over 20" and two at 25". Now am waiting for the black fish and stripers. Just might try some Porgy fishing to close the gap. Keep on fishing!

First limit of fluke this season. Went solo today fished bay and Ambrose channel.

Still trying for a flukeasaurus. Last year's attempt was 9.6 this year so far is 8.3 Looking for a ten pounder plus.

Fluke are chewing,caught five today up to 4.5 lbs. Sandy hook bay and ocean side are loaded with fish.

Went out today from Belmar headed south found bait and fish. No snag and drop today all wire line.Bunker spoons shad umbrellas stretch 29 etc. Seventy feet of water worked for us.I guess by the weekend they will be further south.No short fish all were good fish.Finished up by 8:00AM.

I had my neighbors son out fishing yesterday. He started fishing with a live bunker he snagged and dropped back. It took about fifteen minutes as he said I think I got something. Well I was just as happy as him to see his first striper measure out at 42". Thank God he caught a good one...

Fluke fishing has really turned on for me. Towed to the highlands and a couple of big ones found our bucktails. Since am on the trailer this year I stopped at Julians B&T on the way home to get the real weight. Mine not too bad is 5.5lbs but the real bigger one made 9.6lbs.

Looks very good for a few days so I think I will be heading to the deep! Anyone else interested? No matter where you go at least you should have V-20 weather. :time:
