r wilson ... i cheked my boat today . i am a little confused, maybe someone can chime in here ... i measured my fish box cover .. as i have no lid, i measured the opening and got 43 1/2 x 17 3/4 i mesured the forward anchor locker and got 19 1/2 w x 12 1/2 h .. this is off exactly 1 inch...

i was thinking of adding several tackle storage hatches to my boat that hold the plastic plano boxes .. the prices on these things are outrageous!!!! should be easily bilt with starboard .. just a box with a mounting flange with some dividers for the plano boxes .... any ideas? searched...

i see what you are saying about taking the injection off ... the only thing i worry about is the engine smoking more when idling or trolling .. doesn't the injection vary the oil amount depending on engine speed? if i pre mix, the amount of oil being burnt is always the same ????

thanks for the replies... the old sea drive was a 1985 .. the mariner motor i picked up is a 1990. i was not sure if some of the gauges were specific to engine manufacturer. i see some just go with tach and volt meter ... others go with many more .. why would the trim gauge not work ...
