Way back when I had a couple 30HP Evinrude engines (not at the same time). The instructions all called for them to run 30W oil. This was back in the 60-70's) I know there are reasons for using 2 stroke oil, but in a pinch I'd bet that 30W in the same ratio would work ok.

I used to make my own, but my source for lead dried up a few years back. (used lead weights from tires) When you add up the cost of fuel to melt the lead and the cost of the molds, to me it's just easier to buy new when I need them. .
