I think a 130 with the right prop would work, I personally wouldn't go any lower than that though.

Bad coils or wires maybe? Sounds ignition related to me.

I wanna say I saw a V21 with a V20 windshield on it on here probably 6 or 7 years ago, also saw a V20 with a lower profile windshield once, looked cool.

Running some type of snake, (old vhf antennae) through the drain plug and then feeding it through the pvc pipe under the tank may clear a blockage. Shooting some compressed air through there might blow it out as well.

What Phat said. Plus something to consider is why has someone taken a perfectly good running engine off a boat and put it up for sale.

Just wondered if it was engine only, by the time a dealer adds rigging, gauges, controls, installation, prop, taxes, etc. he could be 10 grand plus. If that is the drive out price from a dealer that he knows or is known to do good work I agree, not a bad deal. Speaking of good deals, friend...

Rigged and installed maybe, just for the engine I think it sounds high for a 13 year old engine. Any experience with the dealer? Haven't seen SSIRedfish here in a while!

I admire your determination Squids, I'm not sure about yours, but some of those Palm Beach hulls had reverse chines like a Seacraft, not sure on whether or not they had variable deadrise though. Bgreene might want it.

The nfb works good on my skiff, the hydraulic on the V20 is like steering a luxury car compared to the regular cable I had before. I would replace the helm and cable if you're doing the work.
