The transom is hard as a rock! The problem is that the rest of the boat is SOAKED... Was there a lot of wood used in these boats? I have considered drying out well and then resealing it...

Actually the 150 would have been for my dual console v20. I found an evinrude 60 for it in savannah yexterday. The 225 on my dual is acting up so I have my eye out for a replacement but I'm going to get this mckee up and going first. What part of spartanburg you from? I grew up in Woodruff.

I got a side mount control box with this 1994 Evinrude 60. IT is not in the best shape in the world, and the cables are super too long. Any suggestions? IS there a way to upgrade to a new box with an older engine? Any to get shorter cables? If they weren't so long i'd just loop them up, but...

I've checked out all the major brands of bedliner type material for recoating a boat. I'm leaning towards Herculiner, but has anyone else used it? I like the dura stuff but it seems rough to me. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
