    What's this?

Pretty sure that the glove box came in handy when I replaced the steering on my 87. No need to remove the whole fiberglass helm like I did on the 91 V 20.

Can you see through your clear vinyl?

Thanks Bradford. Looking forward to getting started on these projects for the members of V 20. Looks like I might be replacing the 3 forward panels for a 35 Viking soon. Should be an interesting project. Pretty sure that project will be done with Strata-glass.

Can you see through your clear vinyl?

Phat, You can send me the front panel and a pattern for the sides panels and I will duplicate your pattern for you. Make sure you mark the width of the binding around the clear vinyl and where you want me to add zippers or fasteners etc.

Can you see through your clear vinyl?

I Phat, Looks good. Are your side panel useable? Or do you want them completely replaced? If the side panels useable just send them along with the front panel and I will install new clear vinyl.

Can you see through your clear vinyl?

Striper, To me the boats feel much different. The V 20 feels more nimble and can stay on plane at a slower speed. The 22-23 footer honestly gives the feel of a better ride probably because of where you sit further back on the boat. I also feel the ride is a little drier. The cockpit is...

Can you see through your clear vinyl?

Striper, I have almost the exact same boat as you. I believe my vinyl panels are original and sadly are in need replacement. Pretty sure although I might be wrong the factory used a 20 gauge vinyl. Yes the 30 gauge would be able to make the bend/turn around to meet the side panel. I have used...

Can you see through your clear vinyl?

Phat, I can make the side panels for you but attaching them to the top and front panel is were it gets tricky. If you lay out your pattern you have to take into consideration how and were it's going attach at the top and bottom and to the front. So if you need zippers installed you have to mark...

Can you see through your clear vinyl?

Phat, Sounds good. I knocked out a windscreen for a 30' Scarab on Monday. Wish I would have taken a photo of the old Strataglass. Nice and clear!

Can you see through your clear vinyl?

Been thinking about this idea for awhile. Are any of the members here on V20 interested in getting their front panel clear vinyl replaced? I can swap in new 30 gauge rolled double polished clear vinyl using 138 Bonded Dabond thread for $150.00. This will include shipping back to you. Few...

    Intro

Hi Bill, Welcome to wellcraftV20! Keep an eye on Criaglist. There was one list in CT that was a theft recovery and it was missing a motor but it was a late model V21. Can't say it was worth repowering or not.

    V-20 Enclosure

Yep, The good machines aren't cheap. You can do a lot of stuff with the smaller machine but it's more work and you will likely get skipped stitches and damage/scratch clear vinyl due to no working space. Some of the bigger panels are just not possible due to limited under arm space on a...
